GTA VI: Xbox pre-orders are live
Grand Theft Auto VI is up on the Microsoft Store with a November 19 release date, pre-order bonuses and the full contents of the Ultimate Edition. Here's what's in it.
Alongside today's Xbox Wire post, the Grand Theft Auto VI page went live on the Microsoft Store, and the game can now be pre-ordered for Xbox Series X|S. The listing gives the release date as November 19, 2026, with Rockstar Games named as both publisher and developer, naturally.
Buy the game before November 19, 23:59:59 and you get The Vintage Vice City Pack plus one month of GTA+. That GTA+ month has to be redeemed within 180 days of pre-ordering, under "Offers & credits" in the Store. It's limited to one redemption per Platform Account, and it won't work on child accounts that are restricted from age-restricted content.
The listing also states that "Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience." What that means for the online side, the page doesn't say.
On the story, nothing much beyond what we knew: Jason and Lucia's easy score goes wrong, and the two end up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. The setting is Vice City, USA.
Ultimate Edition
The purchase described on the page includes the Ultimate Edition Upgrade: exclusive in-game bonuses for Jason and Lucia across their story, and new items uncovered behind each chapter. Let's go through them one by one:

- Jason's safehouse vehicles: an Army fatigue-tinged Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest Kayak
