Rockstar quietly edits GTA VI store listings on Xbox and PlayStation
Rockstar has revised the GTA VI Ultimate Edition store text on both consoles, adding an exact pre-order deadline and fixing the spelling of Macca the Gator.

Rockstar has made small edits to the Grand Theft Auto VI store listings on Xbox and PlayStation this month, most of them to the Ultimate Edition text. GTAVice.net found them by comparing the live pages with archived copies. Rockstar has not announced the changes.
The main one is the pre-order deadline. The listings used to say players had to pre-order "before November 20" to get the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. Both stores now say the purchase must be made "prior to 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59".
According to GTAVice, the Xbox page changed sometime between August 29 and September 4, and the PlayStation page sometime after September 1. Both swapped the bullet points in the pre-order benefits list for dashes.

The Xbox edits go a little further, though GTAVice still calls them minor. The dashed points were shortened, "Vice City" was added to the trademark line, and a new block of legal text appeared. It says the purchase grants a license under the Terms of Service, that some features may need an internet connection, a Rockstar Games account, a single-use serial code, extra fees or unlocking through gameplay, and that the game is fictional and implies no third-party endorsement.
Both listings also fixed a typo. "Macca the Aligator" is now "Macca the Gator", the character from the in-game Goodtime State TV show of the same name. He first showed up in an Ultimate Edition promo screenshot as part of the Goodtime Gear bonus content.

iGrandTheftAuto published the same report. The pre-order bonus window, per the new wording, closes at the end of 19 November 2026.
