GTA VI: the launch trailer is here
Rockstar Games has released the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, set to new music from Justice.

Rockstar Games has put the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer up on its Newswire. According to the official YouTube description, the whole thing was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5. Here it is:
The official synopsis goes like this: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. An easy score goes wrong, and they land on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, right in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that reaches across the whole state of Leonida. If they want to get out alive, they'll have to lean on each other more than ever.

The music under the trailer is new material from Justice. The electronic duo also composed the game's original score. Their standalone single Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, is on the official soundtrack, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. You can pre-save it on the major streaming services already, and vinyl and CD pre-orders are open at gtavi-thealbum.com. Rockstar says more on the game's music is coming, including the official score album.

The big outlets wasted no time picking the video apart. Insider Gaming spotted bank heists, police chases, snakes and people eating chicken out of buckets, though it says the trailer doesn't show much that's new and calls it an unofficial "Trailer 3". Eurogamer singled out a tense police chase and high-flying heists, while IGN counted 33 details, among them military-style heists, cryptocurrency spoofs and . All three mention one scene in particular: (we're only rewatching it for the water physics, of course). IGN also pulled more than 30 new screenshots from the trailer.

Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Just 35 more sleeps to go. ;)
