Goodyear blimp takes flight in Grand Theft Auto VI Vice City livery
Goodyear's Wingfoot Three blimp has made its first flight wearing a Grand Theft Auto VI livery with the Vice City logo. Flight tracking shows it heading from Ohio towards North Carolina.
Goodyear's Wingfoot Three blimp, registration N3A, is now in the air wearing a Grand Theft Auto VI livery with the Vice City logo. GTAVice.net and iGrandTheftAuto both report the first flight, and photos and flight tracking back it up.
The airship was first seen in its hangar with the new paint. It was then rolled out ahead of this first flight.
The first photos of the blimp in flight came from Roger Durfee, who posted them in the Goodyear Blimp Fan Club group on Facebook. As advertising goes, a Vice City logo on an airship is hard to miss from the ground.
According to flight tracking, the blimp is travelling from Ohio towards North Carolina. GTAVice.net suggests Florida could be its next stop. That is the outlet's own guess, and the route has not been confirmed.
The reports quote no statement from Rockstar Games or Goodyear, so it is not known how long the livery will stay on or where the blimp will appear. For now, the only destination shown on the tracking is North Carolina.
