Future PlayStation 3 owners have nothing to fear, at least as far as GTA IV goes. At the end of September Microsoft announced that the fourth GTA episode, due out in a year, will get exclusive content on the Xbox 360 through Live! Now Eurogamer's report tops that, saying PS3 owners won't be left without content made just for them either.
*Rockstar Games* has some bad news: Vice City Stories has been delayed, though no exact release date came with the announcement. Amazon.com lists the US release as October 30th, but we're more interested in Europe.
Our prize draw started two months ago, with a Sony PSP donated by Konzoland Bt. up for grabs for a token fee of just 200 forints. The number of entrants was lower than expected (it didn't reach the maximum of fifty), but we held the draw anyway.
The multiplayer mod for San Andreas, simply named Multiplayer, proved itself and gave the MTA developers a real run for their money. So it's no accident that Vice City is getting its own Multiplayer too.
The UK's *GamesTM* magazine has served up some fresh info and pictures on Vice City Stories. We're presenting the info as a list and the pictures as scans:
The British *Official PlayStation Magazine* has more information on Vice City Stories, coming to PSP at the end of October, along with five pictures. We've seen some of them before, but they've finally arrived in (more) decent quality. Let's see the info:
No need to wait until tomorrow for the Australian *GamePro* magazine: new Vice City Stories (PSP) info from the *Rockstar* interview has hit *GTAForums*, along with thirteen scans (they've since popped up in several places, and I've tried to gather everything). Let's go through it one by one:
*Australian GamePro* magazine did an exclusive interview with the *Rockstar* team, so they are the first in the world to report the first information on Vice City Stories.
It seems the closing of *Rockstar Games*' Vienna studio two months ago was no coincidence: further cutbacks are under way at the *Take-Two Interactive* subsidiary. A recent GameDaily BIZ article reveals that Rockstar was also forced to close its Indie Built studio, and over the past months several executives have been fired or left voluntarily.
Grand Theft Auto IV will use the Table Tennis engine, says MTV. Based on what was said on the music channel (and an [article](https://web.archive.org/web/20060617230352/http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1530131/20060503/index.jhtml?headlines=) from early last month), the next-generation GTA will use *Rockstar Games*' in-house RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) engine, which recently debuted in Table Tennis on the Xbox 360.
The prestigious Golden Joystick Awards ceremony is being held again this year, and Grand Theft Auto has once more been nominated in several categories. The award is regarded as the biggest prize in the British video game industry, and it will be handed out on October 27th.
The PS2 version of Liberty City Stories came out in the United States on Tuesday, and to mark the occasion some new media has appeared on IGN.com. Below you can take a closer look at six new pictures, four of them gameplay shots.
