Yesterday the first official trailer for the PS2 version of Liberty City Stories was released, and it went straight up on IGN.com. We quickly grabbed it, though the little guy has a pretty low resolution (320x180) - a bigger one exists too, and as soon as we find it, it'll go up as well.
Many of you will surely remember the video called Real GTA, in which the makers brought the features of the GTA games into real life for a whole minute. Just now my friend *Banyapapa* pointed me to a new video that spends no less than five minutes trying to blend reality with the features and setting of San Andreas - and of course it turned out really funny.
We're lazy, ladies and gentlemen, we're lazy. We're three days late, but we're reporting the sad news too: Take Two is closing *Rockstar Games*' Vienna studio, citing the changing games business.
It's been a good month since we reported on the Vice City Stories title being trademarked, and we were already sure that this would be the name of the newest GTA episode for the PSP, due out at the end of the year. Today Take Two made it official.
Tomorrow the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) opens its doors in Los Angeles, and the day before, the three big console makers, *Sony*, *Nintendo* and *Microsoft*, held their usual conferences.
The front box art for the PS2 version of Liberty City Stories has appeared on the *Take Two Interactive* website. There's not much difference compared to the PSP version.
The PS2 version of Liberty City Stories has received another release date, which we hope is the final one: according to the publisher's plans, the latest GTA episode will hit PlayStation 2 on June 6th on the American continent, and on June 9th here in Europe.
The release of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on PlayStation 2 has been delayed, publisher *Take-Two Interactive* reports. The publisher had earlier planned to release the latest GTA episode, which came out on PSP at the end of last October, on PS2 on April 28.
We already reported earlier that another GTA episode would be coming to PSP at the end of the year. Several rumors went around that the next installment would be Vice City Stories - and now the rumors have been proven true.
*Paul Eibeler*, CEO of *Rockstar Games*, has confirmed the earlier speculation that Liberty City Stories will be available at a lower price than is usual for a new game release. The $29.99 price tag is quite favourable.
A little teaser for Saturday night: a video called GTA Lego City appeared even before San Andreas came out. It shows Vice City for a minute, from the intro to the game's main features, like car theft and big shootouts.
The foreign site PSXExtreme, citing a *Take-Two* e-mail, claims that Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories will hit store shelves on April 17th. What's more, they say it will carry a $29.99 price tag, which is half the price of a new game.
