Sony plans a GTA VI theater for its Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth
PlayStation Japan confirmed a Grand Theft Auto VI theater at TGS 2026, showing the Extended Look trailer on a 300-inch screen with a vibrating floor, plus a free shirt and stickers.

PlayStation Japan has detailed its booth for Tokyo Game Show 2026, and Grand Theft Auto VI gets a room of its own. In a PlayStation Blog post published today, Thursday, September 10, Sony confirmed that the booth will include a theater dedicated only to GTA VI.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs from September 17 to 21 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan. Besides the theater, the PlayStation booth will have hands-on demos of upcoming games and a premium creator lounge.
The theater will play "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look", the trailer that previewed on Netflix on August 27. Sony will show it on a 300-inch screen with its floor haptic technology, so the floor vibrates in sync with the picture and the sound. Anyone who first watched it on a laptop should notice the difference.
Everyone who attends the theater gets an exclusive Grand Theft Auto VI PlayStation shirt, one per person. Quantities are limited, and the shirt comes in size large only. GTAVice.net notes that it is not known whether the shirt will be sold later.

The blog post also describes a sticker giveaway. Sony will hand a set of three stickers to anyone who posts their expectations or thoughts about the new games on social media with the hashtag #PS5 and shows that post to a staff member at the booth. The rules: one set per person, limited quantities, while supplies last. Sony adds that the image is for illustrative purposes only, so the actual stickers may look different.

iGrandTheftAuto also points out that PlayStation has opened pre-orders for two GTA VI Limited Edition Wireless DualSense controllers.
The PlayStation booth opens with the show on September 17, one week from today.
