Nintendo of America president: GTA VI on Switch 2 is a question for Take-Two
Asked by Variety about Grand Theft Auto VI on Switch 2, Nintendo of America president Devon Pritchard pointed to Take-Two and Rockstar and said she had nothing to announce.

Nintendo of America president Devon Pritchard has neither confirmed nor ruled out a Switch 2 version of GTA VI. When Variety asked her about it, she said: "That's going to be a conversation for Take-Two and Rockstar, but nothing to announce on my end at this time."
She went on to say that Nintendo has "historically said that Nintendo is for ages 5 to 95", and that the company wants a range of different experiences on its system. "We're just at the beginning of seeing what Nintendo Switch 2 can do," she added. IGN and Insider Gaming both reported the interview.

GTA VI launches next month on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. IGN points out that this includes the less powerful Xbox Series S. Insider Gaming says a PC port is expected soon, but that is the outlet's claim, not an official one.
Rockstar games have appeared on Nintendo hardware before. Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition are already on Switch. Insider Gaming's recap goes further back: Game Boy Color ports of the first two games, GTA Advance on the GBA in 2004 and Chinatown Wars on the DS in 2009. Rockstar has announced nothing for Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA VI on Nintendo systems.
Nintendo has its own November release to think about. The Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake arrives on November 5, two weeks ahead of GTA VI.
