Rockstar Games has officially announced a new release date for Grand Theft Auto VI: Thursday, November 19, 2026. The statement went up on the Rockstar Newswire, dated November 6, 2025.
The studio apologizes for adding more time to what it calls a long wait. The reasoning is that the extra months will let Rockstar finish the game with the polish players expect and deserve.
The statement also mentions the state of Leonida and a return to modern-day Vice City. There are no new details, images or trailers though, so the date is the whole story.
Personally, as a Vice City fanatic I grumble a little, but I'd take a polished game over a half-baked one. Well, Rockstar and deadlines… Do you think the extra wait is worth it?
