GTA VI merch resold on eBay for up to 2,735% more than Rockstar's price
Ten days after the GTA VI merchandise launch, GTAVice.net found eBay sellers asking up to €425 for a keychain Rockstar sells for £13.99.

Rockstar Games opened its Grand Theft Auto VI merchandise collection on the Rockstar Store on October 8. When GTAVice.net checked ten days later, eBay sellers were asking up to 2,735% more than Rockstar charges. The figures come from the site's price research, which compares the UK store with eBay listings.
According to GTAVice.net, 15 of the 26 GTA VI items on the UK store are sold out in every size and colour, including 10 of the 13 T-shirts.
The biggest markup is on the GTA VI Keychain, which Rockstar sells for £13.99 ($14.99, €14.99). A German seller wants €425 for a used one, which is the 2,735% increase, and a UK seller asks £275 for a sealed one.

The Vice City Zippo Lighter (£35.99) is listed for up to £199.97, the Vice City Money Clip (£22.99) for up to £130.69, and a canvas tote (£36.99) for £150. T-shirts that cost £25.99 average £66.03.

Pre-orders are being resold too. The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection (£349.99) can still be ordered from Rockstar, yet GTAVice.net counted 126 eBay UK presale listings averaging £500. The limited vinyl of GTA VI: The Album, which sold out within an hour on September 17 at £108.99, averages £199.95; one US seller shows 27 sold at $258.

These are asking prices, and most listings accept offers. Some items, like the sticker sets and the pink and blue tote, are still in stock at Rockstar, which remains the cheaper shop.
Rockstar hasn't said whether sold-out items will be restocked. Fans can add them to their Rockstar Store Wishlist to get an alert. The Vice City Collection ships on November 19.
