GTA IV: More Delays
If everything had gone to plan, we'd have been playing GTA IV for three weeks by now. Sadly, development time has stretched out a lot, mainly because the game has to be developed for two completely different platforms (PS3 and Xbox 360) at once. Take-Two, the game's publisher, announced this back in the summer and moved the release to the second quarter of the 2008 fiscal year, that is, between February and April.
Their latest statement, however, contradicts this: the game currently has no release date, and they'll only announce one when they're absolutely sure. In other words, it's almost certain the game won't come out in the second quarter, only sometime after April.
Unfortunately, I can already picture an October 2008 release in front of my eyes. From a business point of view, at least, that would be the most logical…
