Story

They call you Tommy Vercetti. You've just got out of one of the most heavily guarded prisons after 15 years, and your boss Sonny Forelli isn't exactly happy that you've shown up in town again.

Tommy was arrested over a terrible case, and word spread on the streets that Sonny had a hand in it. But Tommy is a loyal hitman and it never even crossed his mind to get in touch with the Forellis.

A trip down south seemed like a good idea, so they sent him to Vice City to carry out a deal.

Nothing goes well when he arrives. The first serious task is to get hold of a big batch of cocaine. The deal, of course, falls through. No money, no cocaine. Tommy is betrayed, all his friends turn against him. Forelli wants his money back. Tommy turns to a corrupt lawyer for help, so that he can take over the whole city.

His first big friend turns out to be Lance Vance. Their first meeting happens in a movie scene, when Tommy had lost his money. Lance saved Tommy there. After that they kept in constant contact and wanted to get revenge together...
