We reported a little while ago that the second GTA IV trailer, now christened "Looking for that special someone", would arrive on June 28. In today's newsletter, Rockstar confirmed the news and gave the exact release time.
It all started back in September 2006, when Microsoft was the first to announce that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV would get episodic content. Recently Take-Two released its financial results for the second quarter.
Unfortunately, the GTA VI showcase announced in Play's preview never showed up. Instead, we get a five-page preview of GTA IV in the magazine.
Like many other magazines before it, the German GamePro Magazine has published its GTA IV preview, and a few new details have come to light:
Rockstar has announced that GTA IV will be released in a collector's "Special Edition", available on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition will come in a metal case containing the following:
Not long ago, the British XBox Magazine got the chance to try out GTA IV and write its own preview of the game based on that. Before them, GameInformer and the PlayStation magazine had the chance to showcase the game, which we have already shared with you.
In one of his reports, Dan Houser mentioned that there was a bit of a problem with the Xbox 360 version of the game. The blame lies with the "Core" version of the console, since these machines come with neither a hard drive nor an HD DVD drive.
The May issue of Game Informer contains a 10-page GTA IV preview. Subscribers got the magazine well ahead of everyone else, and it revealed some important information about the next-generation GTA:
For a long time, the Vice City Stories music could only be downloaded from [Urge.com](https://web.archive.org/web/20070429205020/http://www.urge.com), but that changed a few days ago, as the tracks can now be bought on the [iTunes](https://www.apple.com/itunes/) online store too.
We've known for a long time that GTA IV will be released simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. IGN therefore did an interview with Phil Harrison, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
Rockstar recently updated the [official Vice City Stories site](https://www.rockstargames.com/games/vicecitystories) with some content for mobile phones. In the [mobile section](https://www.rockstargames.com/games/vicecitystories) we can buy wallpapers made from the artwork images, plus ringtones, for our phones.
In an open letter on the [Take Two](https://www.take2games.com/) website, it has been officially confirmed that GTA Vice City Stories, available on PSP since October, really is coming to PlayStation 2. The letter also gives the official release date.
