GTA IV Preview in XBox Magazine

Not long ago, the British XBox Magazine got the chance to try out GTA IV and write its own preview of the game based on that. Before them, GameInformer and the PlayStation magazine had the chance to showcase the game, which we have already shared with you. Besides the information we already knew, we learned a few new details about the game:

• The game is currently 66% complete.
• The developers worked a lot on the fighting parts, which have become more realistic as a result.
• On one of the radio stations we can listen to Eastern European music.
• Niko is able to climb up and down fire escapes.
• We can go into the skyscrapers, and we can throw people out of them.
• It was confirmed that there will be boats, and the developers have improved their controls too.
• It was confirmed that Central Park will be in the game, though its in-game name isn't known yet.
• Our phone is located in the bottom right corner of the screen, and we can use it to call local gangsters and others for some work.
• In certain areas we will find busy, high-traffic streets, just like in New York.
