Roger Clark on the Arthur vs. Jason comparisons: "It's hard to say"
Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan, Roger Clark, calls the fan comparisons with GTA VI's Jason flattering but says there's too little to go on. And no, he's not in the game, "to my knowledge."

Arthur Morgan has an opinion on Jason. Well, the man who played him does.
Roger Clark, Arthur in Red Dead Redemption 2, was asked about fans comparing Arthur to GTA VI's Jason at a Red Dead Redemption panel at the FanX Salt Lake Comic & Pop Culture Convention. Next to him sat Rob Wiethoff, John Marston himself. Collider's Maggie Lovitt was there and got the quotes.
His take? Pretty chill. "Obviously there are going to be comparisons because it's Rockstar's next game." According to Collider, he gets some of the talk about looks, including people saying the two have similar faces. But we know too little about Jason to tell if the similarities go any deeper. "It's hard to say until we actually get a go at it."
Fair enough. A jawline isn't a personality.
He called the comparisons flattering: "We have very limited information, but the trailers look amazing." He also expects Rockstar to "knock it out of the park again."
Now the bit everyone will clip. Is he in GTA VI? Not "to my knowledge," he said. Then he joked he'd give exactly the same answer if he were.
Before anyone opens a conspiracy thread: GTAVice.net and iGTA say plainly this is no evidence of a secret role. Rockstar is keeping most of the cast under wraps, and the actors behind Jason and Lucia still haven't been officially announced.
Cameo hunters, put the tinfoil hat back in the drawer. For now.
