Miami permits reveal a 305 Films "Vice" shoot on Ocean Drive as GTA VI cars roam the city
Public Miami Beach filming permits list two 305 Films commercials, "Vice" and "Miami Heat - Vice", with sports cars on Ocean Drive. Neither names Rockstar, but the dates line up with the GTA VI car convoy.

Somebody is shooting a commercial called "Miami Heat - Vice" on Ocean Drive, and it's happening right now. Public Miami Beach filming permits, dug up by GTAVice.net, list it under 305 Films, LLC, booked for October 19 to 20, with tomorrow, October 21, held as a rain date.
Rockstar's name isn't on it. Neither is Take-Two's. Remember that before you start screaming.

What the paperwork says: six picture vehicles, two vans and a camera car with a U-crane. Sports cars parked outside The Avalon and the Beacon Hotel, more cars rolling down Ocean Drive. Last night, from 7:30 PM to 10 PM, the camera car was set to tail a vehicle southbound on Ocean Drive for nighttime shots of its taillights. Budget: an estimated $100,000. Destination: social media.
There's an older one too. A 305 Films commercial titled just "Vice", October 5 to 7, a small crew grabbing B-roll around Ocean Drive, Lummus Park and Muscle Beach. $75,000, going out on streaming, social, web and other platforms. GTAVice.net points out that Lummus Park and Muscle Beach are both Vice Beach activation sites in Rockstar's signed deal with the City of Miami Beach. Funny, that.

Now the cars. On October 15 and 16, real cars dressed as GTA VI rides (Manana, Buccaneer, Tempesta, Cheetah, Coquette D10, Emerus) cruised Miami on fictional Leonida plates, with a Lamborghini done up as a Vice City cop car. IGN reports fans caught camera crews filming the convoys, and videos from October 19 and 20 show a camera car at work on exactly the permit's dates (iGrandTheftAuto shared one credited to @FairlyGab). Six cars on the street, six on the permit. Nobody has confirmed they're the same six.

Why the Heat? 305 Films director Gil Green has done Heat projects like Heat Nation and Inferno. Rockstar and the Heat announced their partnership on October 2, and on November 18 the Heat host the Bucks at Kaseya Center for "A Night in Vice City" on ESPN, with a custom court and a new uniform. That part is official.

The rumor part: fan account @GTAVI_Rodion thinks it's a live-action trailer for pre-install day, and X user @Tallglassofwada claims Rockstar and West Coast Customs did GTA VI promo in Key Biscayne on October 15. Rockstar hasn't said a word, and no finished ad has surfaced.
My read: a Heat x GTA VI spot for socials, shot by the Heat's go-to crew. Likely. A full live-action Rockstar trailer? Hell, I'm not buying it. Somebody go watch Ocean Drive for taillights.
