GTA VI on Game Informer's cover: 14 pages, 12 new screenshots
Grand Theft Auto VI is the cover story of Game Informer Issue #382, with new Rockstar interviews, fresh details and 12 never-before-seen screenshots. The digital edition lands on Tuesday, September 29.

Game Informer has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI is the cover story of its latest issue, #382. Inside are new interviews with Rockstar Games, details that haven't been announced before and 12 screenshots nobody has seen yet. The digital edition arrives on September 29, next Tuesday, so only four more sleeps to go.
The feature runs 14 pages and was written by senior associate editor Marcus Stewart, who talked to several of Rockstar's lead designers about building Leonida and capturing the culture and atmosphere of Florida. Rockstar also made brand new artwork of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos just for the cover.
So what's Game Informer promising? Let's see:
- new information on the game's advanced weather systems;
- what the magazine calls a "staggering amount of wildlife", with native and non-native species on land, in the air and at sea (I'm curious what counts as non-native in Leonida);
- Rockstar on the research behind Leonida, and how the studio has tried to build its most culturally and aesthetically accurate, lifelike world yet;
- 12 new images of the game's "sights and citizens", with exclusive comments from the developers.
Print copies go out to subscribers and will also turn up at participating retailers.
The news comes from GTAVice.net and iGrandTheftAuto, based on Game Informer's own announcement, so for now the details are secondhand, but the source is the magazine itself. As soon as the full issue is out, we'll be back with everything new. What are you most curious about?
