GTA VI album announced: 34 tracks, vinyl and CD
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, made by Rockstar with Atlantic Records, launches November 19 alongside the game. The first six singles are streaming now, and vinyl and CD editions are up for pre-order.

Rockstar Games today announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack it made together with Atlantic Records. It's out on November 19, the same day as the game, with 34 original tracks. You can pre-save it on all the major streaming services right now, and the limited vinyl and CD editions are open for pre-order.
The first six singles are already out. Let's see them:
- Yung Lean - That's It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)
- Travis Scott - RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again. & Etienne de Crécy - Sexy Magic
- Morgan Wallen - Last Thing You Need
- Rauw Alejandro - Macacoa 2000
- Keith Richards - Bright Lights, Big City
Quite the mix: Keith Richards and Travis Scott on the same record, we've lived to see it. The Yung Lean track already has a video up on the Atlantic Records channel, here it is:
Vinyl and CD
Three physical editions are sold only at gtavi-thealbum.com: a limited liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter vinyl and a CD in a jewel case. On top of that, Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and indie record shops will carry their own vinyl colorways with new, unique art.

Rockstar didn't list prices, but IGN did:
- limited vinyl: $125, two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, plus exclusive artwork
- double LP: $50
- double CD: $20
According to GamesRadar+, the limited set's artwork and packaging echo the iconic style of GTA VI, and Best Buy, Blood Records and indie record shops each get their own colorway of the $50 vinyl.
IGN says billbil-kun, the well-known leaker at Dealabs, posted the physical editions a few minutes before Rockstar's announcement. The reveal followed a run of Spotify teases, online and on billboards in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, plus teases on the social accounts of artists like Travis Scott and Keith Richards.

There's a bit of irony here: the soundtrack gets a CD, but the game itself isn't launching on disc. IGN points out that Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick said last month that discs "don't really make sense for the consumer." For music, apparently they do.
Rockstar says more on the music of GTA VI is coming, including the dynamic score and what it calls "the next evolution of in-game radio". Until then, 63 sleeps to go. Which of the six are you playing on repeat?
