GTA subreddit roundup: a cutscene mine, Claude's bed and a $40,000 race
A GTA Online player killed by a Proximity Mine mid-cutscene, a Vice City money tip, a cheeky GTA III question and a GTA IV dating secret: the best of the GTA subreddits this weekend.

Dying during a cutscene. The one moment the game is supposed to leave you the hell alone. GTA Online found a way anyway, and it's my favorite thing on the GTA subreddits this weekend.
Killed by a mine in a cutscene
German_99 posted on r/gtaonline yesterday that their character stepped on a Proximity Mine during a cutscene and died. Cutscenes should be the safe zone. Nobody told the mine.

Vice City: buy the car showroom first
Lungkillerhaha makes a case on r/ViceCity: Sunshine Autos Car Showroom should be the first property you buy. Their reasoning is simple. Own the showroom, unlock the last race, and according to the post it pays $40,000 every time you win it. Win it again and again, and that cash pays for the rest of the city.
One catch: that payout is the player's number, and nobody has checked it against the game for this piece. Still, a cash race you can repeat that early? That's the kind of tip I'd have killed for back in the day.
GTA III: Claude and 8-Ball, roommates?
TheRiddlerCum dug up the line "where WE can lay low" from GTA III and asked on r/GTA3 today whether Claude and 8-Ball were sleeping in the same bed. It's a joke. Probably. Claude never says a word, so he's not exactly going to deny it.

GTA IV: the date you never went on
SandrynoRodrigues posted on r/GTAIV yesterday that most people finished GTA IV without knowing they could date a certain female character. Which one? The title doesn't say, and I'm not guessing. If you already know, you're one of the few, apparently.
r/GTA: "It's not that hard I swear"
And then there's ImmaFuckboi, who dropped a post on r/GTA today called "It's not that hard I swear". No description. No context. Just the title and whatever they captured. Flex or confession, go see for yourself.

Now go load an old save and find that GTA IV girlfriend. Bet you can't do it without Googling.
