Grand Theft Auto V Still Has a While to Go
Take-Two won't be releasing GTA V this year after all, as revealed in the report on the first quarter of fiscal year 2012, shared last night. We were hoping the report would finally give us a Grand Theft Auto V release date, but no luck..
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said only this in answer to questions about Grand Theft Auto V: development is still under way and going very well. There was no word on a release date, though, so the guess is that we can get our hands on the game in March 2013 at the earliest.
It's not just bad news for us. The investors' smiles froze too when it turned out that Take-Two's first quarter of fiscal year 2012 fell short of expectations, largely thanks to Max Payne 3, which didn't hit its planned sales figures.
