Cliff Richard didn't know what Grand Theft Auto was. Then his nephew called.
According to an interview with The Times, as reported by IGN, the nephew's two boys screamed "Dad, it's Uncle Cliff!" His 1976 single "Devil Woman" was in the GTA VI Extended Look on Netflix.
The numbers are the real story. IGN reports "Devil Woman" has seen a 325% increase in daily streams since the Extended Look. One trailer, one 1976 track, and it's back in circulation.
Richard seems happy about it. He said: "People will no longer just say, Oh, Cliff Richard is from the past."
