Alleged packing worker claims a GTA VI collector's edition exists, then deletes the post
An X user who says he packed boxes in Mexico claims a GTA VI collector's edition is coming and posted photos as proof. Then he deleted it all. Nothing is verified, and Rockstar hasn't confirmed a thing.

A guy on X says he packed GTA VI collector's editions with his own hands. Then he deleted everything. Of course he did.
Today X user @Alexi0982 posted that a Grand Theft Auto VI collector's edition exists. He says he spent about a month in packaging production for it at Unique Services in Mexico, where the boxes are supposedly being made. His post, translated from Spanish: "Alright, screw it all. There's going to be a GTA VI collector's edition. I worked for a month in packaging production. I'm leaving photographic evidence of the box design."
The "evidence" is two photos. One shows a black box with "Vice City Leonida" printed across the top and the "VI" logo on the front. The other shows a warehouse with a stack of the same boxes.

He also threw in a photo of an employee badge reading "UNIQUE SERVICES GROUP S.A. DE C.V." with the words "Nuevo Ingreso". He says he quit after roughly a month and never signed an NDA. Convenient. Could also be true, who knows.
According to him, the box has several sections inside and is bigger than a PS5 box. He thought it might hold a disc, because he remembers a circular piece where one could fit. The moment someone questioned that, he folded: "It doesn't specify for which console, so it might even not have a disc at all." Keep in mind that GTAVice.net and iGrandTheftAuto say Rockstar has already confirmed physical copies ship as a code in a box, not a disc.
Asked why the thing is all black, he said: "It's more colorful on the inside." Sure, buddy.
On timing, he had this: "No, but I can tell you that right now they're distributing those editions to every part of the world where they'll be sold. It might come out after the launch because production will end in November."
Now the cold water. The post is gone. Nobody has verified any of it, Rockstar hasn't confirmed a collector's edition, and GTAVice.net and iGrandTheftAuto, who are reporting it, call the claims unverified themselves. One anonymous account, three photos and a disc theory he walked back as soon as he was asked about it.
A fancy box from Rockstar at some point? Probably. This box? I'm not convinced. Show us that colorful inside, Alexi, then we'll talk.
