A fan walked the real-life Hove Beach, and yes, there was Vladivostok FM
Reddit user u/seacowx shared photos from a stroll down the street they call the "irl Mohawk Ave", with shops similar to the game's Russian clothes store and the subway station where Niko first picks up Mallorie and Michelle.

Some people go on holiday and photograph cathedrals. u/seacowx went looking for Niko Bellic's neighborhood.
The Redditor dropped a set of photos on r/GTAIV titled "Walking down Hove Beach". They took them during a stay in the city, walking down the street they call the "irl Mohawk Ave". Yes, that Mohawk Ave. The one where you spent your first hours in Liberty City wondering what the hell Roman had gotten you into.

According to the poster, the street is packed with shops a lot like the Russian clothes store from GTA IV. Rockstar's artists clearly did their homework.
Then there's the last photo. Per u/seacowx, it's the subway station where Niko first picks up Mallorie and Michelle. If that one doesn't give you a little jolt of nostalgia, check your pulse.
The soundtrack? Imaginary, sadly. They joked that Vladivostok FM was playing in their head the whole way. Honestly, what else would you put on there?
The post doesn't name the real neighborhood, so I won't either. Half the fun is figuring it out yourself.
Great find, u/seacowx. Now somebody go track down Roman's cab depot. I'll wait.
