South Park shows real GTA VI gameplay, and it involves dog poop
Wednesday's South Park episode included just under 20 seconds of genuine GTA VI footage. Rockstar is thanked in the credits.

South Park has shown just under 20 seconds of never-before-seen Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay. It was in Wednesday night's episode, "Guinea Pig On A Stick", on Comedy Central.
In the episode, Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Randy Marsh and Steven Stoch sit around a table while a woman shows them the footage. She is at a cattle ranch, hyping the game. Players can pick up dog poop, throw things at a person, and attack them with the poop if they fight back, she says, before finishing with "That is what's coming in November."
Then the clip itself. A dog poos on a beach and its owner, an NPC, goes to pick it up. The player throws something at the NPC, and when the NPC turns around, the player, as Jason, grabs the poo and hits them over the head with it. Yes, really, and I'll admit it's very GTA: the first real gameplay we get in a while is a poop fight on a beach, and I'm oddly fine with that. The footage also shows how densely the beach is packed with NPCs.
It is not a parody mock-up. The gameplay is real, and Rockstar is thanked in the episode's credits, which ends any speculation about legitimacy. The full clip was posted on X by the GTA VI Info account (@GTASixInfo). Rockstar had already confirmed the dog poop mechanic.
The woman is voiced by Tish Hicks, per the credits. Hicks also narrated the Grand Theft Auto V gameplay trailer.
GTA has been popping up all season on South Park, and the game's release has even been referenced as the moment "things will get better" in America.
