Possible Release: March 4, 2008

We know that GTA IV's release has been pushed back to the second quarter of the 2008 fiscal year, but now a few new bits of information have come to light.

Take-Two Interactive has revealed that the release date will fall on a nice March day, and if we follow Take2's American strategy of "GTAs come on Tuesdays", the game can be expected on the 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th.

The online game store GameStop has updated the home delivery date of Grand Theft Auto IV to March 3, 2008, which means that those who pre-ordered the game will be able to get their hands on it for the first time on the first Monday of March. From this we can conclude that the game the whole world is waiting for could hit the shelves exactly 7 months from today.

At the end of the news, let me share two less important bits of info with you. One is that the notice announcing the October release has disappeared from GTA IV's official site, and the other might be interesting to our stock-shark readers: Take-Two's shares have dropped by several points since the delay was announced.
