Official Xbox Magazine Preview

The American Official Xbox Magazine has also got its hands on the demo that quite a few magazines have already reported on, so we didn't learn many earth-shattering new things. Still, let's not be sad, because the little bits of news can be interesting and exciting too.

• The weapons offered by Little Jacob included the 9mm pistol and the shotgun, and there were both assault rifles (e.g. the AK-47) and submachine guns (e.g. the Uzi).
• The honest name of the corrupt cop we've mentioned several times is Francis McReary, and we learned that Francis has incriminating information about Niko's past. Apparently it was a major crime committed back then, and that's how McReary is able to blackmail our hero. They also confirmed that the cop wears a moustache, so it's more and more certain that the gentleman holding up a police badge in the picture will be McReary.
• They revealed that Niko arrived in a ride called the Comet at the location of the mission in which he had to get hold of a memory card.
• Before Niko uploaded his résumé to the Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster website, the OXM journalists spotted that Niko used to be a member of the Balkan Peace Organization, and that he is a great expert in swimming, shooting and boxing.
• Goldberg's secretary was referred to as Karen.
• There is no reference in the game to the terrorist attack that took place on September 11.
