Liberty City Stories Release Delayed
The release of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for PlayStation 2 has been delayed, publisher Take-Two Interactive reports. The publisher had originally planned to release the latest GTA episode, which came out on PSP at the end of last October, on PS2 on April 28. However, developer Rockstar is now focusing first on its game Table Tennis (Xbox 360), due out in May. So the game can come out at the earliest at the end of May.
Interestingly, though, while the development of LCS was handled by the Leeds team, Table Tennis is being developed by the San Diego team, so in theory the development of the two games shouldn't affect each other. True, the guys at San Diego also took part in the work on San Andreas, and maybe that will be the case with the PS2 version of LCS as well. In any case, we're waiting for an official explanation.
