GTA V - March 29, 2013

There's a lot of fuss around the release of GTA 5 in gaming circles, and we were slowly starting to think the craze was dying down. After all the speculation and announcements, everyone had come to terms with GTA 5 arriving at the beginning of next year. We were wrong!
What happened is that the UK's Tesco uploaded a GTA V product page to its store, which listed the release date alongside the price. The page has since been updated; the old date was December 28, 2012. On the updated page, the release of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions has been changed to March 29, 2013, and the information is still available right now.
Rockstar Games still hasn't told its fans the official release date, so this could well be a clever bit of marketing from Tesco, a trick to get pre-orders multiplying.

We can't disprove the release date either, since it's obvious that the publisher informs its retail partners before the official announcement so they can get ready in time for the rush, which with a title this big, like Grand Theft Auto V, is almost certain.
