GTA United mod for GTA: San Andreas

We rarely write about mods, but this time we're making an exception, because here's a creation that will surely keep everyone busy until the next GTA episode arrives.

So what is GTA United? Grand Theft Auto United is a mod built on the PC version of GTA: San Andreas. The goal was to let the player explore the areas of GTA III and GTA: Vice City at the same time, running on GTA: San Andreas' graphics and physics engine. Sadly, the San Andreas map was left out of the mod.. and that would have been the icing on the cake. The idea for the mod popped into the creators' heads in 2006, and it took almost 6 years to turn it from a dream into a decent public version.

Since the development is a community project born on the GTAinside and GTA-Worldmods sites, they have exclusivity over the download. So the download is only available through their sites. Like the sound of it? Download it!
