Grand Theft Auto
Not exactly today's news, but R* has made 2 really great, though not exactly new, games available as free downloads. One of the two is the first Grand Theft Auto. The guys were really nice about it, because they thought of today's powerhouse PCs too, so running it should be no problem. For the download you have to fill in a tiny form, and the URL is sent to you by email.
Off-topic: unfortunately, downloads and new news posts are barely making it onto the site, and that's down to lack of time. :(
