Games Aktuell GTA IV Preview

The August issue of Games Aktuell has also published a new GTA IV preview. The following new details have come to light:

• Niko will be able to break into houses at night, and what's more, he can now call in another character to help him do it.
• Co-op (playing the single-player missions in multiplayer mode) will be part of the game, but split-screen play (two players on one console, or with controllers) hasn't been confirmed yet. The Multiplayer menu can be accessed through Niko's mobile phone.
• The police use dog units to track you down as quickly as possible.
• If you buy weapons from Little Jacob, he will reward your loyalty, and you'll be able to get more and more powerful, tougher weapons from him. The shop called Ammu-Nation is still in the game; you can buy smaller weapons there. Body armor can also be bought, and it's now visible when our character is wearing it.
• Using cover will be similar to how it was in Gears of War.
• The single-player mission series is 100% finished, and the developers are already planning the multiplayer missions.
