Dazlah Interview

I managed to get hold of the creator of the Ducati Supersport 1000 DS, and luckily he had a little time and answered a few of my questions. :)

lamase: Where do you live and how old are you?

dazlah: England, 19

lamase: When did you start making models?

dazlah: Years ago... I must have been about 16. I first edited models and mods for GTA2. What got me into it was the cars, they were just bitmaps, which were easy to edit. After that I started getting more serious about it and moved on to Midtown Madness 2, which I made models for for about 2 years.

lamase: What was your first project for VC?

dazlah: First I made a helicopter. Vice City needs more helicopters, but there were no bike models. Then I looked around from page to page to figure out which bike was needed. That's how the Ducati was made.

lamase: Which programs do you use for editing?

dazlah: ZModeler, and for the textures I use Paint Shop Pro and Windows Paint

lamase: Next, current project?

dazlah: maybe there will be one now, but not sure

lamase: Do you only make models, or do you work on mods too?

dazlah: Both, I've already released a few mods for Midtown Madness 2. For VC I make skins and other extras.
