Videos
The four official GTA Vice City Stories videos in release order, from the first trailer in September 2006 to the PlayStation 2 trailer in March 2007.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories Trailer #1 (5 September 2006)
The first official trailer runs 1:04. It had its world premiere on 5 September 2006, the same day Rockstar opened the official GTA Vice City Stories website. That site was built around an archive of MeTV News, a short-lived Vice City cable channel from 1984, so the trailer and the site introduced the game's setting together. Besides QuickTime and Windows Media files, Rockstar offered the trailer as downloadable PSP and iPod versions, which suited a handheld game.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories Trailer #2 (26 September 2006)
Trailer #2, titled "Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's Pop", is another 1:04 clip. It appeared in the Movies section of the official site on 26 September 2006. The same update brought new MeTV News programming with host Jenny Mitchell and a batch of new screenshots, so the video was one part of a wider refresh of the site rather than a stand-alone release.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories Trailer #3 (24 October 2006)
"In So Deep" is the third official trailer, again 1:04 long, and it is set to Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight". It went up on 24 October 2006, one week before the game's PSP release, which makes it the last trailer of the launch run. The accompanying site update opened the Multiplayer section with an overview of all 10 modes, and the Music section with a sample track list.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories PS2 Trailer (2 March 2007)
The PlayStation 2 trailer lasts 1:03. On the official site it was the fourth movie. Rockstar had announced the PlayStation 2 version in February 2007, a few months after the PSP original, and the trailer was made for that port. It came out on 2 March 2007, days before the PS2 release.
