As we reported [earlier](legacy:2012-08-29_a-nyar-utolso-multiplayer-esemenye), the Social Club multiplayer event to say goodbye to summer was held on August 30. The battles were fought in Grand Theft Auto IV and Max Payne 3 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Nine months have passed since MTA's last version, and thanks to the team we didn't have to wait any longer for the new one. Version 1.3.1 includes the following updates:

On August 30 (Thursday), anyone can test their skills against the Rockstar Games developers, a special guest and hundreds of fanatical players at the last [multiplayer event](https://web.archive.org/web/20150710040746/https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/multiplayer-events/index-signin) of the summer. The mayhem is available on all three platforms, so PC fans can step into the ring against the best players in the world, too.

Citing secret sources, VideoGamer.com has rejected the rumor that GTA V would be released on November 23.
As Rockstar Newswire promised, the new GTA V screenshots have arrived, and luckily we didn't have to wait long. Judging by the screenshots, the protagonist will probably get to operate out in the countryside, much like in San Andreas, as we can see in the pictures.
A year ago, a prominent modder from the Grand Theft Auto community released a mod that shows Liberty City in a completely new, Red Dead Redemption-style look. This year an updated version has been released.
