A little teaser for Saturday night: a video called GTA Lego City appeared even before San Andreas came out. It shows Vice City for a minute, from the intro to the game's main features, like car theft and big shootouts.
Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy in Europe only in November
One news post down, you could read about the pre-orders of the new GTA editions, but back then we didn't yet know that the date referred to the American release.
New GTA Editions Available for Pre-order
Two weeks ago we reported on Take 2's announcement that from October 18 Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy will be available for Xbox and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Special Edition for PlayStation 2. As of today, both editions can be pre-ordered, either from Take 2 or from the Rockstar online store.
The Trilogy and San Andreas Special Edition
*Take2* has announced that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy will soon be released for Xbox, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Special Edition for PlayStation 2. The Xbox trilogy naturally includes GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas.
Kaboom-MP
New developments are exploding out of the sa-mp team at an ever faster pace. Not long ago they released the open source version of VC-MP as 0.1c, and yesterday came 0.1d, which, besides bugfixes, supports running complete modifications.
GTA Trilogy Tribute
Jordan Liles, webmaster of Planet GTA, has made a great video called GTA Trilogy Tribute. It's made up of scenes cut from GTA3, GTA: VC and GTA: SA, and over six minutes it tries to capture the atmosphere of the games and show what we've been through so far.
VC-MP0.1b - The First Beta
The fixed version promised for the weekend was uploaded to the official site a few hours ago. They managed to fix a few bugs and extend the program with some convenience features, but there are still quite a few problems left to tick off the list.

We've been feasting on the first public alpha for more than a week now, which was enough time for me to make up my mind: I'm leaving MTA to its own devices and going all in on VC-MP, and lamase is starting up a server for your enjoyment.
Another VC-MP test
Next weekend the servers will be fired up again for one last test before the first version is released. Until then, everyone who wants to jump in should install a clean Vice City, and GTA LC on a separate one.
